VEK FACADE PUTTY

Facade putty is a building material that is used to protect the walls of a structure and give them decorative qualities. In addition, when erecting building structures from small-piece materials (brick, foam blocks, stone), it is impossible to perform masonry to get a perfectly smooth and even wall. One of the tasks of facade putty is the alignment of the walls.

Manufacturers of building materials produce facade putties of two varieties. Ready-to-use paste-like mixtures and dry construction compounds, which must be diluted with water and mixed. Regardless of the method of manufacture and consistency, they are all finely dispersed mixtures. Depending on the size of the fillers and consistency, facade putties are divided into starting and finishing ones. It has a rather coarse-grained filler. Usually they are used for the initial wall decoration; concrete, brick, wood can act as the base material. The material has high strength, securely attached to the surface, well processed. Effectively closes seams between masonry elements and various surface defects. It can be applied in several layers, depending on the manufacturer, the thickness of one layer can be 2-20 mm.
